Toffee-tastic cookies and Rah-Rah Raisins are headed our way in 2015.
First the Girl Scouts announced that we could all finally order their cookies online (using the very official-sounding Digital Cookie system), and now we’ve discovered that there are two new flavors joining the cookie lineup!
It’s a big day for Girl Scout cookie-lovers everywhere, and we suspect that even Thin Mints-only loyalists will have to try out the new flavors, Toffee-tastic and Rah-Rah Raisins, at least once.
On their Meet the Cookies page, the Girl Scouts have already added the new cookies to the collection.
The Toffee-tastic cookies are “indulgently rich, buttery cookies with sweet, crunchy golden toffee bits,” for which there will also be a limited amount of a gluten-free variety in select markets, while the Rah-Rah Raisins are “made with whole grain oats,” and “packed with plump raisins and Greek yogurt-flavored chunks.”
As Foodbeast points out, cookie fans in Los Angeles will have to pay $1 more per box, a “price hike” that has already been applied to Northern California.
Elsewhere, Girl Scout cookies remain $4 a box, for now.
New Flavors Will Be Joining the Girl Scout Cookies Lineup in 2015
The good news: Two new flavors will be joining the Girl Scouts Cookie lineup in 2015—Toffee-Tastic and Rah-Rah Raisin. The Toffee-tastic cookies will be butter-based and gluten-free, and they’ll have crunchy toffee bits inside. The Rah-Rah Raisin, on the other hand,ਊre made with whole grain oats, and will have raisins and Greek yogurt-flavored chunks mixed in.

The bad news: If you live in L.A., a box of GSC will cost you $1 more than last year. Considering how much some people in Los Angelesਊlready spend on gluten-free baked goods, we’re not sure anyone is going to care.
And we’re sure you already know that Girl Scout Cookiesꃊn now be purchased online, which was arguably the most important news of 2014.
Girl Scout Cookie Season is Coming With 3 New Flavors
G ood news for those with a sweet tooth: Girl Scouts of the USA announced three new cookie flavors Monday, including two that are gluten-free.
- Toffee-tastic: a gluten-free butter cookie with toffee bits
- Trios: a gluten-free cookie with peanut butter, chocolate chips, and whole grain oats.
- Rah-Rah Raisins: an oatmeal raisin cookie with Greek yogurt&ndashflavored chunks.
In January 2014, the Girl Scouts said 20 councils were testing a gluten-free chocolate-chip shortbread cookie. Now, the organization tweeted Monday, “For the first time in Girl Scout history, gluten-free cookies will be available nationwide from most councils.”

The announcement comes as the Girl Scouts are at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, showing off “Digital Cookie,” a new program that is supposed to enable youngsters to sell cookies online while learning marketable business and technology skills.
Gluten-Free Girl Scout Cookie Flavors: Coming in 2015!
Fans of Girl Scout Cookies (a.k.a. humans) are in for some great news. Three new flavors of Girl Scout Cookies are coming this year, and two of them are gluten-free!
The three new flavors joining the cookie lineup for 2015:
All will be available this selling season, which lasts from mid-January until the end of April, and the latter two of three are gluten-free offerings, to boot.
Toffee-tastic, a buttery Girl Scout cookie featuring toffee bits, and Trios, which combine peanut butter, chocolate chips and whole grain oats, will make history.
In 98 years of Girl Scout cookies, they will be the first gluten-free versions available nationally. Last year's Chocolate Chip Shortbread was sold in select markets.
The third new flavor, Rah-Rah Raisins, is not gluten-free, but a standard oatmeal raisin cookie with whole grain oats, raisins, and Greek yogurt-flavored chunks.
Last month, the Girl Scouts of America announced that the cookies will be available for purchase online, so if you miss your local troop at the store, score!

Girl Scouts Add 3 New Flavors To Their Cookie Lineup, Including 2 Gluten-Free Options
It's just the first week of January and the year's already shaping up to be a sweet one. Girl Scouts announced today, January 5, that they will be adding three more flavors to their iconic cookie lineup. On February 27, which also marks the start of National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, the Scouts will debut Toffee-tastic, Trios and Rah-Rah Raisins cookies.
You might be able to guess a couple of the ingredients mixed up in these cookies, but here's the breakdown: The Rah-Rah Raisin is an oatmeal raisin cookie with raisins and Greek yogurt–flavored chunks. The other two cookies are both gluten free Toffee-tastic is a buttery cookie mixed with pieces of toffee, and Trios contain peanut butter, chocolate chips and oats.
Girl Scouts can go out into the world and sell treats beginning on the first of February, and there are several ways ensure your pantry is stocked with Girl Scouts this year. You can befriend a Scout and order your cookies online. You can download the Girl Scout Cookie Finder mobile app (iOS, Android) to find cookies in your area. Or you can warmly open your door when a Scout comes a' knockin'.

Dunkin’ bottles up 3 Girl Scout coffee flavors for the 2021 cookie season

Dunkin’ has brought back its Girl Scout Cookie coffee flavors, but this time the chain has bottled it up for retail shelves.
The quick-service chain partnered with The Coca-Cola Company to launch its three new ready-to-drink iced coffees, which include signature flavoring from Thin Mints, Coconut Caramel and S’mores, Dunkin’ announced Tuesday.
Coca-Cola is producing and distributing the 13.7-ounce bottles to retail stores throughout the country, as it has for the rest of Dunkin’s bottled coffee lineup since 2017.

From 2018 to 2020, Dunkin’ had been serving Girl Scout Cookie coffees in-store during the youth organization’s cookie-selling season, which typically takes place between January and April. However, this year it appears Dunkin’s cookie-flavored beverages have not made a reappearance on store menus.
Thin Mints and Coconut Caramel are the two Girl Scout Cookie flavors that Dunkin’ has brought back each year. In 2018, the chain included a Peanut Butter Cookie flavor in its lineup, but the option has yet to make a return.
Dunkin’s addition of the new S’mores flavor is the first time the chain has offered a trio of Girl Scout Cookie flavors since the idea’s debut.
The bottled coffees can be purchased at major grocery stores, supermarkets and drug stores, including ShopRite, H-E-B and CVS Pharmacy. Shoppers who drink the ready-made coffee beverages can expect to consume 250 to 260 calories per bottle.
“We’re excited to join forces with Dunkin’,” Chief Revenue Officer Barry Horowitz, of the Girl Scouts of the USA, said in a statement. “Girl Scout Cookies are the vehicle for girls to learn important entrepreneurship and leadership skills that set them up for success in life, and our licensed products help carry that message across the country.”
Girl Scouts of the USA makes hundreds of millions of dollars from licensing deals with food and lifestyle brands. In 2015, the organization made more than $225 million from licensed merchandise items that were sold in retail stores, according to a press release.
Brands that Girl Scouts of the USA have issued licenses to also include Breyers, Bigelow Tea, General Mills, Good Humor, Nestlé, The Quaker Oats Company, Wicked Cool Toys and Yankee Candle.
Meanwhile, the global ready-to-drink coffee market is projected to grow to $42.36 billion by 2027, according to market research firm Fortune Business Insights. This estimate is nearly double what the firm claims the market was valued at in 2019, which was $22.44 billion.
“The popularity of ‘café culture’ has brought ready-to-drink coffee to the center stage of the global marketplace,” Fortune Business Insights wrote in its forecast. “Global brands are eyeing this lucrative space amidst consumers shunning carbonated beverages and energy drinks for on-the-go and highly convenient coffee [beverages.]”

Girl Scout cookie season, also known as the only reason we choose to live anymore (kidding, we also love our cats), is right around the corner. Not only can (certain) markets order cookies online, but we're getting two new Girl Scout cookie flavors! Exciting, right?
Sure, until you read the descriptions and you realize that they'll never beat Thin Mints, or whatever your favorite cookie is if it's not Thin Mints although that makes you a real dumb-dumb.
However, we're sure lots of you will find one of these cookies appetizing:
"Made with whole grain oats, these new hearty oatmeal cookies are packed with plump raisins and Greek yogurt-flavored chunks. An addition worth cheering about this cookie season!"
Snap judgment: This cookie has fruit in it. You should all know by now how we feel about cookies that have healthy stuff in it. It's an oatmeal raisin cookie, basically, and that's a cookie you grab on accident because you thought it looked like a chocolate chip cookie. Also, Greek-yogurt chips? C'mon.

Snap judgment: This is more our speed. We wish more stuff had toffee bits in it because toffee bits are freakin' delicious. And the "as long as supplies last" make these cookies sound mysterious, alluring and unique. We want them because we know they'll run out. Damn you and your stupid mind games, Girl Scouts of America!

Girl Scout cookies are back with more flavors and an app
Girl Scout cookies are back — and this year, there are more treats to choose from.
The Girl Scouts have two new cookie flavors making their debut, but which cookies you get to try all depends on where you live.
You see, there are two different bakeries — ABC Bakers and Little Brownie Bakers — that produce cookies for the organization. The Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council, which covers the eastern half of the Inland Empire, partners with ABC Bakers.
ABC Bakers’ offerings this year include the returning Caramel deLights, Cranberry Citrus Crisps, Lemonades, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Shortbread, Thanks-A-Lot and Thin Mints, along with the new Trios.
Trios are a trifecta of cookie standards, all in one: oatmeal, peanut butter and chocolate chips. They’re also certified gluten-free.
The western side of the Inland Empire (basically Fontana, westward) is represented by the East Region of the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles, which partners with Little Brownie Bakers. This year, Little Brownie Bakers are bringing back Do-si-dos, Rah-Rah Raisins, Samoas, Savannah Smiles, Tagalongs, Thin Mints and Trefoils, and are introducing Toffee-tastic.
Toffee-tastic cookies are buttery shortbread-style cookies packed with toffee bits, and like the Trios, are gluten-free.
If you haven’t spotted scouts selling outside your local supermarket and are wondering where you can get your hands on your favorite flavors, there’s an app for that. Simply head to your appropriate app store, search for the Girl Scout Cookie Finder, install it and get information on nearby sales locations and times.
The updated app includes the new cookie flavors and contains an FAQ, which (among other things) explains why Caramel deLights are the same as Samoas and informs us that the cookies are kosher.

The local goal for Girl Scouts of Palm Beach County is to sell 1.5 million boxes this year. We all recognize the celebrated cookies and adorable Girl Scouts who sell them with philanthropy and a good cause. The national Girl Scout Cookie Program brings in around $700 million from its cookie sales. Locally, the Girl Scouts raked in more than $960,000 in proceeds last year, according to Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida figures. There are over 2.8 million Girl Scouts in the United States (2 million girl members and 800,000 adult members working as volunteers). Globally, there are 10 million girl members and adult volunteers across 145 countries. The program empowers young girls with good friendships, fun and education through an international network.
In 2014, each Girl Scout averaged around 181 boxes of cookies sold, nearly 6 percent more than 2013. The scouts are hoping to surpass their benchmark from 2014 this year and they will probably accomplish their goal and more! This year, the Girl Scouts launched a digital sales program to sell their cookies calling it the Digital Cookie Platform.
Support our local Girl Scouts by buying a couple boxes and spreading the cookie love. Some local restaurants are featuring specials to support the girls. Grimaldi’s a pizza place in Palm Beach Gardens is featuring two types of Girl Scout cookie cheesecakes. Duffy’s Sports Grill will “Give a Box, Get a Box” where you can donate a box of cookies and Duffy’s will send a box to the “Cookies for the Military.”
