Mix in a bowl flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, walnuts and a pinch of salt.

Pour the oil, then the water and mix with a whisk.

Incorporate the jam, mixing well.

Pour the composition into a tray lined with baking paper (20/30). Bake over medium heat until the surface of the cake, to the touch, is firm. (To be honest, I don't remember how long I left it in the oven). Let the countertop cool in the pan.

For the icing, mix the cocoa and sugar in a saucepan, pour the water and oil and simmer until the icing reaches the desired consistency. We pour it warm over the counter; let the icing cool well, then portion it. The top is damp and soft.
