A delicious, easy bread pudding that uses fruit loaf slices.

- 2 eggs
- 2 egg whites
- 350ml (12 fl oz) skimmed milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 slices fruit loaf, cubed

- Preheat oven to 160 C / Gas mark 3. Lightly grease a 23cm (9 in) baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat together the eggs and egg whites until foamy. Mix in the milk, honey and vanilla.
- Stir in the bread cubes and pour into prepared dish.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.

Altered ingredient amounts.I used 3 whole eggs & more bread. Didn't measure the honey or vanilla. It's a great basic recipe to play with!-24 Jul 2008

Something else.Yummy! I like to try different bread pudding recipes. I used three eggs and no extra egg whites and put in extra bread. I also set the pudding tin inside a tin of water as it cooked. Very good!-24 Jul 2008
